ANITA JOINS NET AS TEST ENGINEER

Anita joined NET on 2 March and is already contributing strongly in her role as Test Engineer. With extensive experience from industry, laboratory operations, and research environments, she strengthens NET’s daily work in testing and assessing packaging for the transport of dangerous goods.

Nineteen Years in a Changing World

NET was registered on 31 January 2007. The world looked different at the time. The global financial crisis was just around the corner, globalisation was still characterised by optimism, and concepts such as resilience, preparedness and supply security were not common topics in those days.

TONJE IS UP AND RUNNING AT NET

Tonje joined NET on the 5th of January, at the same time as we celebrated our 19th anniversary – and she is already well underway. With strong motivation to learn, structure and commitment, she has quickly immersed herself in both dangerous goods packaging and child-resistant packaging.

RAW MATERIAL FOR UN PACKAGING

Reelab AB is now formally approved as a supplier of recycled plastic raw material for UN-type approved packaging. Following a thorough audit carried out by NET, the company has received its Supplier Qualification Certificate, confirming that it meets all relevant requirements and standards.

NET HIRES TWO NEW TEST ENGINEERS

NET is further strengthening its team by hiring two new Test Engineers after receiving significant interest in the position. Tonje Mårdalen Nikolaisen and Anita Gusfré Thoner will play key roles in our technical environment and in the continued development of the Test Center in Bamble.

LOOSE LIDS?

From 1 January 2025, UN markings on packaging for dangerous goods must be attached to a part of the packaging that cannot be removed. The new ADR rule makes lid marking illegal - and at NET we hope (and assume!) that the solution will not resemble those annoying juice-carton caps.

Successful Collaboration Project

We are pleased to announce that NET, in collaboration with LiProPac, has successfully achieved approval for specialized packaging for the transport of damaged batteries. This packaging meets the P911 requirements and ensures safe transport of green, yellow, and red batteries.

Latest Client Partnership

NET is proud to have Technomar & Adrem as a new client. The Estonian company, specializing in wood-based packaging solutions, operates four factories and exports over 95% of its production globally, maintaining a strong presence in Europe, the USA, and Asia.

Client Partnership, BMW

NET is excited to welcome BMW Group GmbH as a new client. As a global leader in premium vehicles, BMW will work with NET on type approvals for their dangerous goods packaging, ensuring safe and compliant transport.
