NET was established in January 2007. Key personnel have backgrounds in the plastics technology sector in Grenland, Norway, as well as in product testing and type approval in Borås, Sweden. Today, NET operates Europe’s most modern and efficient testing laboratory for dangerous goods packaging, accredited according to ISO 17025, with delegated authority from DSB and the Norwegian Maritime Directorate. The Civil Aviation Authority discontinued this delegation in 2013.
