Rune Fink graduated from Chemical Engineering from Telemark University College. Worked one year as a science teacher at the secondary school after graduation. Afterwards there was work at the Quality Control Laboratory in Statoil Bamble. In May 1995 he started planning a Dangerous Goods Packaging Testing Laboratory as part of Borealis's development strategy within the area of ​​Business Unit Molding. Here the work began with the regulations for dangerous goods testing, first in CEN and so in ISO. As the head of the Materials Technology Laboratory at Borealis's Research Center in Norway, the idea was to start "Norwegian Packaging Testing", which was later formed as "Nordic Packaging Testing". Rune is now working on new ideas such as a packaging cluster in Norway located at Eik i Bamble.
