Additional IBC course on 19–20 April
Have your IBC tanks been checked lately?
Due to high demand, and the already full course for inspectors of IBC to be held on 6 September, we have chosen to set up a new course in April. Everyone who was supposed to take the September course has now been offered to go in April instead. This is to get the necessary documentation in place as soon as possible. On this occasion, we have a few places available for the course on 19 and 20 April.
If you want a place here, call us on 900 17 025.Many participants in this course must check what is colloquially referred to as: container, diesel tank, ADR tank, fuel tanks for generators etc. The course covers all of these and applies to all IBCs. Anything that can transport fuel/liquids/solids, and that can be filled/emptied with pressure/self-pressure. This applies regardless of the material: for example: plastic, composite, fiber and metal, up to 3,000 litres.
The course is held at our lab at Stathelle, and gives you formal permission to control and approve IBCs. This applies to all types of IBC - up to 3000 litres. It is the tank owner's responsibility that periodic checks are carried out and that the IBC/tank is approved, and that this can be documented at future checks.
Here you learn everything you need to know to test and control an IBC according to ADR, the course is the only one of its kind in Norway and approved by DSB.
It all ends with a practical and a theoretical exam leading to a certificate, so that you/you can check your IBC yourself.
You will find more information about this IBC course here. You are welcome to call and have a chat about the course, phone: 900 17 025, or by email at therese.rummelhoff@net17025.com
