Congratulations to 10 new IBC inspectors who passed their exams yesterday! As of today, they are listed as inspectors with current approval in NET's official list. This marks an important milestone for all the participants, who now have formal permission to carry out 30-month and 60-month checks of IBC containers in accordance with ADR chapter 6.5.4.4.
The IBC inspector course is one of our most popular courses, covering everything from regulations and classification to practical tests and inspections. The course gives the participants the competence required to inspect IBCs (Intermediate Bulk Containers) which are often referred to as:
- Containers
- Diesel tanks
- ADR tanks
- Fuel tanks for generators
With knowledge of type testing, construction requirements and periodic checks, our new inspectors can contribute to the safe transport and storage of dangerous goods.
As of today, it is total 202 inspectors with current approval certified by NET – a number that shows the growth and need for qualified professionals in the industry.
We thank the participants for their efforts and wish them the best of luck in their role as certified IBC inspectors!
