Successful collaborative project

Successful collaborative project

We can finally announce that NET, in collaboration with LiProPac, has obtained approval for special packaging for the transport of damaged batteries. This packaging meets the P911 requirements and ensures the safe transport of both green, yellow and red batteries.

After a long period of close collaboration, we are proud to publish that we, in collaboration with LiProPac AB has obtained approval of packaging for damaged batteries according to the P911 regulations. Transporting damaged batteries represents significant challenges, as they can pose a risk of leakage, heat generation or fire during transport. Specially developed packaging is therefore required that can handle these potential hazards in a safe manner.

As a result of this collaboration, NET has now approved two construction types for LiProPac: NET18101A andNET18102A. Both packaging solutions are now ready to transport green and yellow batteries. In addition is NET18101A, a steel box manufactured by Grönlunds Plåt AB, approved to transport red batteries.

Thomas Lyck, R&D at LiProPac, expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration when the certification was completed:

"Today I am very happy and it has been very positive to work with Er. I appreciate the professionalism you show when it comes to organization and order etc. The certificate is downloaded and now it is time to start selling ;-)"

Overview of battery categories:

  • Green batteries: Batteries that are in good condition and safe for transport without special precautions.
  • Yellow batteries: Batteries that have minor damage or have been exposed to stress that may require extra monitoring and securing during transport.
  • Red batteries: Batteries that are significantly damaged, leak, or may pose a fire risk. These require specially developed packaging and stricter security procedures.

NET is very pleased with the result of the collaboration with Lipropac, and we look forward to supporting their needs in the field of testing and certification of dangerous goods packaging in the future. It has been a rewarding project, and we are convinced that their new packaging solutions will meet the market's needs in a safe and efficient way.

We look forward to many exciting projects in the future!
