Welcome to AS Tehnoplast

Welcome to AS Tehnoplast
Collaboration pays off

Tehnoplast is located in Tallinn, Estonia. Their main business is the production of cans and bottles based on blow molding technology and plastic buckets with handles and lids based on compression molding technology.

Natalja Smirnova, CEO of Tehnoplast, explains that they strive to produce good quality plastic bottles and cans for technical liquids, such as this 25 liter stackable jerry can for dangerous goods tested and type approved at NET. They also produce packaging for food products for a growing market in Scandinavia and the Baltics.

Rune Fink, in NET, says that in recent years NET has focused its activities on the Baltic countries as part of "the Nordic market". We also feel a responsibility here on the other side of the Baltic Sea when it comes to approvals of UN packaging, as the Baltic countries do not have their own certification bodies. The competition here is direct against our competitors EuroFins, RISE and DTI, which together with NET cover the Nordic market today.
Tehnoplast is already known by NET, as they have several "APPENDIX" for child-resistant packaging on certificates issued on Modulpac. Now we are pleased to welcome Tehnoplast to the "Nordic - DG Packaging Program" by issuing their certificate: NET120201A (PDF).
