Relaunching the forum

It is easy to get all today's "data tools" mixed up, but it is important to know the differences. Quite often we hear the expressions forum, blog and social network, what exactly is the difference?
Forums are like social mixers, where everyone is on the same level, learn everything you know, ask what you need answers to and discuss with others who share your interest. This communication tool allows both to start a topic while allowing others to reply to it. The members are often at the same level, and the content is usually segmented by topic.
NET started its "Nordic Packaging Forum" in 2008 and ran it for a while with relatively little interest from the crowd out there in the packaging market. After a while we let it run on its own, with the result that it was overruled by completely different actors than those interested in packaging. This led to a formidable increase in the number of users, but with little interest in the topic "Packaging".
Now time has passed and the number of smart phones and users of social tools has increased considerably since then.
NET aims to relaunch its packaging forum during the coming autumn and welcomes advice and tips from you along the way. Maybe we can meet at Scanpack and discuss this during the fair?
