A new colleague at NET

OSCAR WIDESTAM
Employed in the new year 2015 in a 40% position as a test engineer, alongside final studies at the University of Oslo and Akershus.
At the end of his schooling at the end of May, he will get a B.Sc as a structural engineer - construction engineering with a special area of steel and wood constructions. He has thus built a wide range of expertise, among other things, in the areas of fracture in different materials, joining, long-term loads and seepage. NET has already benefited from this in various packaging and product tests.
Oscar has always worked evenings and weekends in addition to going to school and likes to have enough to do. He is driven by challenges and a desire to make everything work as well and easily as possible. Before Oscar began his higher education, all his free time was devoted to sailing at the top level. Here he can point to, among other things, a sixth place in the Jr. EC as a personal best. These are important characteristics that NET looks forward to taking part in development and progress.
Expertise: Steel and wood structures, problem solving and resilience.
