We are proud to have strengthened the education of IBC inspectors in Norway, in fact we have managed to reach 200 active IBC inspectors (the certificate is valid for 5 years). With safety and efficiency in focus, we have collaborated with Sentralregisteret to digitize the IBC checks.

Together we are now introducing a ground-breaking digital solution for the periodic control of Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs). This new electronic control system, integrated into the Machine Register, enables approved IBC inspectors to carry out checks digitally – a major step forward for the industry's safety and traceability standards. Using innovative QR codes, which are mounted on each IBC, the inspector can easily log in and register checks on reginn.no, providing immediate access to control results for owners and users. With this solution, we strengthen our commitment to safety, while streamlining maintenance processes for all parties involved. The solution is also mentioned in the latest update of DSB’s guidance.
