NET enters its 13th year
and celebrates 600 UN certificates issued

Since NET started up in 2007, it has gone from being the smallest testing institute in the world with the authority to certify UN packaging, to becoming the largest in the Nordics (measured in terms of the number of active certificates) with the most modern solutions for testing and handling packaging for dangerous goods. As of today, NET has 36% of all active UN certifications in the Nordics, and within the subject area from which we originally emerged, NET now has 52% of all certifications for plastic packaging based on the standard liquid system in ADR. NET has always seen itself as a Nordic company, which the statistics also correspond to. Today, NET has 76% of its certification in Nordic countries other than Norway.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the past year. 2018 brought us a record high turnover, thanks in large part to the new test facility for nitric acid. From the time the doors opened on 12 January last year until New Year's Eve, it was 42 °C at the facility, even during the summer holidays NET was dependent on keeping the temperature up. We can also look back at a brilliant fair in Gothenburg, Scanpack 2018 gave NET new customers who have already contributed to making NET a better version of itself. It is through feedback and challenges from our customers that we can reach new heights and we feel privileged to have the best customer base in the Nordics who continuously challenge us with solutions and new ways of packaging dangerous goods.

Finally, it should be mentioned that NET is experiencing an increasing demand for product testing. This is an exciting area that has great potential, both within and beyond national borders. There are many indications that 2019 will be a brilliant year for NET!
