Investing in new equipment

These days, NET makes stronger use of the knowledge Solveig brings with her from the Research Center at Borealis and later Norner. The new Tensile tester will form part of NET's future Material lab. The new ISO 23907: Sharps containers triggered the investment.

Fortunately for NET, our efforts on the women's side are increasing. Both Solveig and Susanne expanded their knowledge through so-called retraining. This would eventually turn out to be supplementary education. Both are now well underway after completing their education, but their original starting point only comes back stronger in their own and in NET's everyday life.

NET has now purchased a tensile testing machine that can be used both vertically and horizontally. It can of course be used for ordinary material testing, but is primarily intended for creative product testing as part of development work or claims cases. The first job of this kind with a self-developed jig has already been delivered.

Examples of use are: Puncture tests, compression tests, friction tests and tensile testing of film and textiles.
