Course for IBC inspectors

Course for IBC inspectors
Another group through course and examination ready to check/repair IBCs...

If you regularly use IBCs, you should know that they do not last forever.

Unfortunately, there have been several accidents in Norway alone in recent years where incorrect use and expired IBCs have been the direct cause. Indirectly, unfortunately, the cause is still most often ignorance.

All IBCs must have a full inspection every 5 years, and the lifespan of plastic IBCs has a maximum lifespan of 5 years and must be inspected after 2.5 years. It is the plastic bubble in a composite IBC that limits its lifespan, if this is replaced after 5 years, the IBC has 5 new years on the market (provided a follow-up inspection has been carried out).

NET takes this opportunity to congratulate all participants; as they all passed the exam this time and have been issued a valid certificate with a validity of 5 years (plastic card showing that they are now approved inspectors).

Those interested can find the next course here.
